Sadness at death of County Roscommon businessman

The late Mr James, Tully, Frenchpark.

The death of well-known County Roscommon businessman James Tully, today, Sunday, October 19th has caused deep sadness in West Roscommon and beyond.

Mr Tully from Frenchpark, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully with his family at his side, in the exceptional care of the ICU team in the Galway Clinic.

Proprietor of Tully’s Bar, Frenchpark, the Fiddler’s Elbow, Bar and Restaurant and the Castle Nightclub, Ballaghaderreen, Mr Tully was well known in business circles in County Roscommon and beyond. He served as spokesperson for Roscommon vintners for many years.

Born on July 16th, 1950, he was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Patricia, his brothers, Enda and Mark and his nephew, Mark.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken family, his adored wife and best friend, Noreen; cherished children, Enda, (his wife, Claire), daughter, Edwina Burke (her husband, David), and his idolised granddaughters Aoibheann, FreyaRose & Lottie. James is also sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Ciaran, Maria (Regan), Sean, Edel (Molloy), Aidan, Pat and Theresa, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives, neighbours, staff and many friends.
