Scores without power in the county this morning

Scores of people are without power in the Castlerea area this morning following a fault.

The ESB said the power to one of the outages will be restored by noon and the other, which affects 54 customers, will be restored by 4 pm.

Separately, 13 customers are without power in the Boyle area, with service expected to be restored by noon.

“We apologise for the loss of supply,” the ESB said. “We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible.”
