Search for missing man stood down after body is discovered in County Roscommon

The search for a man missing from the Carrick-on-Shannon area since May 16th has been stood down following the discovery of a body in the Ballyfarnon area of North Roscommon on Friday evening.
Gardaí this afternoon confirmed that the search for Manuel D’Costa, (48) missing from Carrick-on-Shannon has been stood down.
"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and public for their assistance," said a Garda statement.
