This is what the new Aldi store in Boyle is set to look like, according to an architect’s impression.
Last month, the German discount supermarket was given the green light by An Coimisiún Pleanála after the planning regulator had considered an appeal.
In it ruling, it upheld Roscommon County Council’s original decision to grant planning permission to Aldi for the new store in the North Roscommon town.
The supermarket is part of an approved mixed-use development which includes the provision of five new houses along Patrick Street.
Aldi also hopes to create up to 30 permanent new jobs when the new store comes into operation.
