A speeding motorist tested positive for drugs beside a primary school on Friday.

As part of National Slow Down Day, Longford Policing Unit clocked a motorist travelling at 106km/h in a 50km/h zone beside a primary school.

The driver subsequently tested positive for cocaine and cannabis.
