Stop/Go system in place on regional road
The stop/go in place this evening at Carrick, Curraghboy
A stop/go system is in place on the road from Curraghboy to Rahara. A stretch of the south bound lane has flood water on its surface and has been closed to traffic.
There is significant flooding in the fields adjacent to the R362 at Carrick, Curraghboy, which is close to Lough Funshinagh.
A number of sandbags are in place at the drive of one house, while a temporary access route appears to have been constructed at another.
Roscommon County Council has been contacted for comment.
