Street in Castlerea town closed following road accident

Gardai and emergency services are this morning at the scene of a traffic accident in Castlerea town.

The Roscommon Herald understands that a pedestrian has been injured following an accident at St. Patrick Street, Castlerea.

The street is currently closed to traffic while emergency services deal with the accident.  Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
