Stretch of major County Roscommon road to close for seven weeks
Alternative routes will be put in place.
A significant stretch of one of the county’s busiest roads is to close today, Monday, for almost seven weeks.
Roscommon County Council is closing the N61 from the junction with the R368 at Fourmilehouse, to the junction with the N5 at Tulsk.
This is to allow for road resurfacing works.
The period of closure for this 9km stretch of road is from today, Monday, September 28th to Friday, November 13th.
Alternative routes will be put in place.
