Stretch of regional road in the county to close temporarily

The council has decided to temporarily close a stretch of regional road in the county to facilitate necessary improvement works.

The R367 from Ballintober to Castleplunket will be closed from tomorrow, September 29th until Friday October 2nd inclusive. Diversions will be in place via the R377, L1618, and L1640.

“There may be an increased likelihood of delays on these roads as a consequence,” the council warned.

Emergency Services and local access only will be accommodated, and the works are being managed by staff from the Roscommon Operational Area.
