Sudden death of young Roscommon man deeply mourned

The sudden death of Liam Dunne, Ballyleague, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Antogher Road, Roscommon Town, is being deeply mourned.
In his funeral notice, the family have shared the “heartbreaking news’” of his sudden passing on Tuesday, September 2nd.
In the notice, the family said that Liam would be remembered for his “passion for sport, especially soccer, and for his wonderful sense of humour that brought joy to all who knew him”.
Cherished son of Róisín and Gary, and much-loved twin brother of Rory and loving brother of Clara, he will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his family, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his wide circle of friends.
“His sudden departure leaves a void that will never be filled, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all of us who loved him. May he rest in peace,” said the family.
Liam will repose at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Friday, September 5th from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.. Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Saturday morning, September 6th at 11 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon followed by burial at St. Coman’s Cemetery, Roscommon.
The notice has requested family flowers only and donations in lieu of flowers to Epilepsy Ireland in memory of Liam.
