Supermarket seeks food tester for the day from County Roscommon
Food tasters are being sought by a supermarket chain.
Consider yourself a foodie fanatic? Want to have your say on what new Irish products get stocked on ALDI shelves? If so, ALDI has the job for you!
As part of this year’s Grow with ALDI programme, ALDI is inviting customers to apply to be a judge and food tester extraordinaire for a day.
ALDI will be picking a winner from every county in Ireland to join the consumer panel.
Each winner will be welcomed to ALDI’s Head Office in County Kildare on February 8th for the judging day. There they will join a team of ALDI buyers to have their say on which Irish products should be stocked in ALDI stores nationwide as part of this year’s Grow with ALDI programme.
So, what is the Grow with ALDI programme? It’s a supplier development programme, helping innovative small to medium sized businesses build their brand and take the next step on their entrepreneurial journey. Undertaken in partnership with Bord Bia, it champions Irish and gives ALDI customers the opportunity to support native small businesses at great value price points.
Think you have what it takes to represent your county on the judging panel? To be in with a chance of taking part, simply email growjudge@aldi.ie with the following information:
* Your full name
* Tell about your love of food
* Tell what makes you a good candidate for the job
* Your address and your ability to travel to Kildare on February 8th.
Closing date for entries is January 26th. The winner will be notified by February 2nd. Make sure you arrive with an empty stomach!
