Suspected drug driver arrested

Local Gardaí arrested a suspected drug driver this morning.
Gardaí from the Longford Roads Policing Unit were carrying out a speed check in County Longford at around 11am, when they detected a car travelling 98km/h in a 50 zone close to a primary school.
The driver was found to have no insurance and tested positive for cocaine and heroin.
The driver was arrested and court proceedings are to follow.
