Suspected drugs seized by Gardaí

A quantity of suspected herbal cannabis and cocaine was seized in the county last week.
Gardaí carried out searches under warrant of homes in Frenchpark, on Friday 10th October 2025, and the suspected drugs were seized.
The seizures will now be subject to analysis, and investigations are ongoing.
As part of ongoing investigations into the activity of an Organised Criminal Organisation, Gardaí based in Sligo-Leitrim Garda Division carried out a number of searches in the Garda North Western Region on Friday.
Investigating Gardaí were assisted by Regional and National Specialist Units.
