The heavy rain over the last number of days has exacerbated the flooding crisis.

The Fianna Fáil leader is currently discussing the issue in a private meeting with local residents.

The Roscommon Herald took photos of Lough Funshinagh this morning ahead of his visit, revealing the extent of the flooding.
