A third-generation family pub business in Boyle has announced its closure date.

Daly’s Public House, Off Licence & Wholesale Licence on Bridge Street in Boyle will close its doors for the final time on Sunday, May 31st.

The award-winning business, which is currently up for sale, was established in 1950.

In a social media message, Daly’s said: “As everyone is aware by now, our premises is up for sale and we have decided to put a final date on the closing of our business, which will be Sunday, May 31st. 

"We have greatly appreciated your continued support over the years, spanning across three generations.

“We have met and made many friends along the way, and have worked with some great staff members. Good wishes & sincere thanks again to all of our customers.”
