Tidy Towns group shocked as flowers are stolen

Members of Roscommon Tidy Towns Association were "shocked" to discover that someone stole some of the flowers from the flower beds on the Racecourse Road in the town on Wednesday night or Thursday morning last.
"Clearly someone thought it was okay to steal these plants for themselves and make up their own pot of flowers. What the perpetrator didn’t know is these beds are covered by nearby CCTV which we will be reviewing," said the group.
The group added that if the flowers were returned to the beds no further action would be taken. "If not all footage will be handed over to Roscommon Garda Station," said the group.
