Tributes paid following death of former postmistress

Tributes have been paid following the death of former Bealnamulla postmistress in South Roscommon.
Geraldine Finneran (née Molloy), Bealnamulla and formerly Clontuskert, Ballinasloe, Co Galway passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 29th, in the care of the staff of Mullingar General Hospital.
Many tributes have been paid to the former postmistress who was described as a “gentle, caring person” and “such a lovely lady”.
She is predeceased by her husband Tom, parents Winifred and Thomas and grandson Sam.
Geraldine is sadly missed by her loving daughters Orla (Celbridge), Aoife (UK) and Deirdre (Dublin), partner Cecil Clarke (Borrisokane), sons-in-law Mike and Paddy, grandsons Thomas and Ciarán, brother Joe (Clontuskert), sisters Maura Briscoe (Gurtymadden) and Carmel Glennon (Dublin), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and her many good friends.
Geraldine will repose at St Brigid's Funeral Home, Brideswell (N37 EK88) this evening, Wednesday, from 5 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to St Ronan's Church, Taughmaconnell.
Mass of the Resurrection tomorrow morning, Thursday, at 11 a.m., with burial afterwards in Taughmaconnell cemetery.
