Two popular pubs in Carrick-on-Shannon have been named as finalists in the 2025 Bar of the Year Awards.
With over 1000 entries, this year’s awards attracted more submissions than ever before.
McHugh’s Bar in Carrick-on-Shannon has been named a finalist in two categories, Best Bar to Watch Match and Innovative Bar of the Year while Dunne’s Bar, also in Carrick-on-Shannon, is a finalist in the Best Entertainment Bar category.
“Following months of meticulous evaluation and an exhaustive search for the most outstanding venues the list of finalists has been announced,” said the organisers.
All finalists will be considered for the 2025 People's Choice Award, voted by the public.
Finalists are encouraged to promote the voting form across their social media channels and websites to rally support and increase their chances of winning.
The winners will be announced on Monday, August 18th at the Clayton Hotel on Burlington Road, Dublin.
