Untimely death of popular young Roscommon woman mourned

The untimely death of a 42-year-old Roscommon woman is being widely mourned.
Maureen Maguire, Cluain Bhríde, Ballintubber, and formerly of Corbally, Donamon, passed away suddenly but peacefully in the loving care of her family on Sunday, January 11th.
There has been an outpouring of sympathy following the passing of the very popular woman.
“Maureen was a lovely, kind hearted person with a lovely smile,” said one sympathiser while a former work colleague said: “Devastated to hear the passing of Maureen. We worked together for 18 years in Tesco - the best fun, laughs and tears.”
Another sympathiser described her as “beautiful, witty with a cheerful personality, always on hand to help everyone”.
Beloved mother to Eva and Jarlath, she is deeply regretted by her parents, Mary and Pat Maguire; brothers, Charles, Gerry, Damien and Aidan; her partner, Aidan Scanlon; aunts, Anne Conlon, Margaret Higgins, Patricia Noone and Mary Handy (Clara); uncle, Oliver Maguire (Lanesboro); sisters-in-law, Edel and Nadia; Eva’s father, John Murphy; her cousins, nieces and nephews, Amelia, Cian, Patrick, Nova and Sophie; her many friends, neighbours and work colleagues in Tesco Roscommon.
Predeceased by her grandparents, Charlie and Maureen Conlon and Eugene and Margaret Maguire.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
