Gardaí say that an investigation is underway following a report of criminal damage to a van that occurred at a location in Frenchpark on Saturday afternoon.

Local sources claim that during the incident two men were allegedly assaulted by up to four men wearing balaclavas. However, Gardai have not confirmed this and say that the investigation underway concerns a report of criminal damage to a van.
