Householders in the North Roscommon and Carrick-on-Shannon areas are being warned about a scam involving letters delivered to homes pretending to be from Uisce Éireann.
The letters outline that a visit will take place to carry out a leak inspection.
People are being asked not return any unfamiliar calls or use any QR codes.
