Watch: Classic Chris O'Dowd clip leaves Graham Norton in stitches
A stunned Chris O'Dowd on the Graham Norton Show.
One of County Roscommon’s most famous sons, Chris O’Dowd, is many things, a renowned actor, writer, director, and even noted Gaelic footballer.
However, his babysitting pedigree has been hilariously called into serious question.
While on the Graham Norton Show, the Boyle man was left stunned as his past came back to haunt him. Red chair occupant John recounted a disastrous time Chris was left in charge. But it was all in good fun. The classic clip, from 2015, has experienced a renaissance recently and has been widely shared.
Chris, who made his debut at Dublin’s Gate Theatre in recent weeks in the sold out Irish premiere of Conor McPherson’s new play The Brightening Air, praised his hometown’s arts festival.
“It’s a fantastic and prestigious festival in a relatively small town," he told the Herald. "I think it does give you the impression that anything is possible. If you’ve got all these wonderful artists from around the world, why can’t you be one of them?”
