WATCH: Knock priest thanks the ‘Rossies’ for playing major role in Shrine success

People from Roscommon have made a significant contribution to the life and development of Knock Shrine over many decades, according to Knock Parish Priest and Shrine Rector, Fr Richard Gibbons.
Speaking to the Roscommon Herald on Saturday during celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the dedication of Knock Basilica on July 18th, Fr. Gibbons paid tribute to the generations of Roscommon people who have supported the Shrine through their work, volunteering and ministry.
The anniversary celebrations included a special day of prayer, reflection, storytelling and thanksgiving.
