A new feature for faster boarding has been introduced at Ireland West Airport.

A new Aviramp at the airport, a step-free, all-weather ramp, will allow passengers to board and disembark the aircraft with ease.

In a statement the airport noted: “The fully solar-powered boarding ramp is fully wheelchair accessible, reducing luggage lifting requirements for passengers and enabling an efficient turnaround and a comfortable passenger experience."

This, the airport says, means faster boarding and disembarkation, a more comfortable, dignified journey for everyone, even better service on every flight from the West.
