Chris O'Dowd in 'Small Town Big Story'
A trailer for the new Chris O’Dowd comedy series has just dropped.
Featuring a great cast including Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks and Paddy Considine from the House of the Dragon, the teaser for 'Small Town Big Story' rightly doesn’t give any of the plot away, coyly saying that ‘People are going to find out’. The six part comedy series, which is directed by the Boyle man, will air on Sky Original in February.
Described as a warm and witty comedy, the storyline centres on what happens when a Hollywood production rolls into town and throws the spotlight on “a secret that’s been kept hidden since the eve of the Millennium”.
In September 2023, Chris was back in his hometown filming the series. Boyle is no stranger to the big screen as it was previously the backdrop for the actor’s semi-autobiographical coming of age story ‘Moone Boy’, which was nominated for a Bafta in 2015.
