Transport Minister Darragh O’Brien hailed today’s official opening of the Frenchpark bypass as part of “a significant project of regional importance”.
Minister O’Brien cut the ribbon on the 7km bypass this afternoon.

The Frenchpark bypass is a €69m investment, which is part of a wider €462m new N5 roads scheme, stretching 34km from Ballaghaderreen bypass to Scramogue.
