Gardaí seized a number of offensive weapons following the search of a vehicle
Gardaí have seized a number of offensive weapons following the search of a vehicle at approximately 11.45 p.m. on the night of Sunday, May 12th in County Longford.
Gardaí stopped and conducted a search of the car on the Athlone Road, Ballymahon, Longford.
Two men (aged in their 20s) and a male juvenile were arrested at the scene and were detained at a Garda Station in County Longford under Section 4, Criminal Justice Act, 1984 in relation to the seizure.
All three males have since been charged and are due to appear before Longford District Court tomorrow morning Tuesday, May 14th at 10.30 a.m..
