Woman (80s) dies in County Mayo road traffic collision
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
A woman in her 80s has passed away from injuries sustained in a road traffic collision that occurred at Glebe Street, Ballinrobe, on Thursday, August 20th.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the the road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 4.20 p.m..
This collision involved a car and a pedestrian.
The female pedestrian (aged in her 80’s) was conveyed from the scene to Mayo General Hospital. She has since passed away from her injuries.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage and were travelling in the area of the N84 / Glebe Street, Ballinrobe, County Mayo between 3.50 p.m. and 4.50 p.m. on Thursday, August, 20th are asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
