All Ireland winner set to host fundraiser to help those in need

All Ireland winner Kate Nolan will be hosting a Training and Fun Day in association with St. Brigid’s GAA Club.
This Saturday from 11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., members of the St. Brigid's mens and ladies teams that claimed county titles last year will come together to help provide a fun filled day for children aged five to 12.
There will be trophies on display including the Mary Quinn Memorial Cup, which Roscommon’s LGFA team won in Croke Park at the start of this month.
All proceeds from the day will go towards Kate’s fundraising for Self Help Africa and the Warriors for Humanity – Plant the Planet Games 2026.
In November she will be travelling to Kenya alongside 50 inter-county players from across all four codes, with each person committed to raising €10,000 to help plant one million trees across Africa.
A ticket for one child costs €20, two children is €30 and three or more children is €35. Coffee, tea and refreshments are included for parents, followed by a BBQ afterwards with all food included in the price.
