Brian Hanley has named the Roscommon team that will face Wicklow this Sunday in the opening round of their Division Three league campaign.
Just six of the team that lined out from the off against Mayo in the Nickey Rackard Cup final last May are named to start this Sunday.
Enda Lawless, James Dillon, Darragh Finn, Cian Murray, Conor Mulry and Adam Donnelly, are all survivors from that success in Croke Park.
Lawless, who was named on the Champion 15 Team of the Year for 2025, starts in goal while Dillon is selected to line out at full back.
New vice captain Tommy Morris anchors the side from centre back as he is flanked by Pádraig Peases duo Keelan Ryan and Darragh Finn.
The midfield partnership is formed between Conor Morris and Cappataggle’s Cian Bowes.
Mulry captains the side from corner forward while Meelick/Eyrecourt’s Niall Fleming has also been named to start in attack.
Paddy Fallon, who is back in the panel this year, has been named among the substitutes while Brian Mannion, a member of last year’s U-20 panel could also see action.
Roscommon face Wicklow this Sunday in King & Moffatt Dr Hyde Park at 1 p.m..
