Championship picture becomes clearer for Roscommon’s ladies footballers

Finbar Egan's side will be aiming to emerge from their three team group this summer.
Roscommon’s ladies footballers have a clearer picture of who they will face in this year’s TG4 All Ireland Intermediate Championship.
Finbar Egan’s side are in a three team group. There they will face the runners-up in the Leinster Intermediate Championship and a team that loses in the first round of the Ulster football Championship.
Two teams will progress from each of the Senior and Intermediate groups to determine the quarter-finalists.
Home advantage for the quarter-finals will be granted to the teams that finish on top of their respective groups, with a draw to take place following the conclusion of the group stages in the Senior and Intermediate Championships.
The Intermediate Championship is due to get underway on the weekend of May 31/June 1.
