County U-20 and minor football captains revealed for upcoming provincial championships

The Roscommon U-20 and minor football captains for both teams' upcoming provincial championship campaigns have been confirmed.

Robert Heneghan from Michael Glaveys is this year's U-20 captain, while Tommy Morris (St. Aidan's) has been selected as vice-captain. Both players were members of last year's Connacht championship-winning panel.

Roscommon open the defence of their title with a game against Mayo at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar, on Wednesday next, March 19th, at 5.30 p.m..

The captains and vice-captains for this year's minor football panel have also been revealed.

Dara Curran from Castlerea St. Kevin's will captain the side, while Shay McGuinness (Clann na nGael) and Sam Hannon (Roscommon Gaels) are the team's vice-captains.

Roscommon, who were beaten by Mayo in last year's final, open their 2025 Connacht Minor Football Championship campaign with a game against Sligo at King and Moffatt Dr. Hyde Park on Friday, March 21st, at 5.30 p.m..
