Roscommon forward Daire Cregg will find out if he is available to play against Mayo in the next 24 hours.
The understands that the Boyle player's hearing with the Central Competitions Control Committee will take place on Monday evening.
Cregg was sent off for an off-the-ball incident in the dying embers of the opening half during Roscommon's facile victory against New York at Gaelic Park.
If the decision is overturned, his availability would be a huge boost to Roscommon's chances in Castlebar next Sunday as he has been one of the Rossies' top performers this season.
