Connacht GAA have confirmed details for their U-20 and minor championships.

Roscommon will begin the defence of their Connacht U-20 title with an away game against Mayo on Wednesday, March 19.

Seven days later the Rossies will host Sligo before enjoying a bye week after that home tie.

An away game against Galway will take place on Wednesday, April 9 with a home game against Leitrim seven days later concluding the round robin stage.

The semi final between the second and third place teams will take place on Wednesday, April 23 with the final being held on Wednesday, April 30.

Roscommon’s quest to reach successive provincial U-17 finals will see them playing for four weeks in a row during the round robin stage.

Shane Moran’s men start with an opening round clash against Sligo on Friday, March 21.

A week later Roscommon will face Galway before playing Mayo on Friday, April 4.

Roscommon will then play Leitrim on Friday, April 11 as they will be left to watch the other games on Friday, April 18 between Galway and Mayo alongside the meeting of Sligo and Leitrim.

The Connacht semi final takes place between the second and third placed teams on Friday, May 2. Seven days later the winner of that game will face the table toppers in the final.

Meanwhile, in the Connacht Club Championships, the Roscommon champions at senior level will progress straight through to the semi final stage where they will face either a Mayo or London club on the weekend of November 15/16. The provincial final will be held two weeks later.

In the Intermediate Championship, Roscommon’s representative will face Leitrim in the Connacht semi final on November 15/16. The provincial decider will be played on November 22/23.

For Roscommon’s junior representatives, they will face Sligo foe in the provincial quarter final on November 8/9. The winner of that contest will play Mayo opposition a week later. The Connacht final is scheduled for November 29/30.

In the Connacht Intermediate hurling Championship, Roscommon’s representatives will face Mayo on November 1st/2nd. The semi final will be held in Ruislip two weeks’ later against London opposition with the final against the Galway intermediate champions on November 22/23 in Athleague.

In the Connacht U-17 A and B championships, Roscommon’s representatives will face Galway opposition in Tuesday, October 28 with the final three days later. Meanwhile, Roscommon’s representatives will play Mayo in the Connacht U-16 hurling championship semi final.
