Details confirmed for Roscommon intermediate ladies’ footballers All Ireland semi final
Roscommon will face Westmeath in the TG4 All Ireland intermediate championship semi final at Kingspan Breffni.
The Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) have released details ahead of Roscommon intermediate ladies’ footballers’ All Ireland semi final.
Roscommon will face Westmeath on Sunday, July 12th in Kingspan Breffni with the game throwing in at 4 p.m.
Roscommon LGFA supporters will be very familiar with the Cavan venue after the county’s U-16 team beat Armagh at Kingspan Breffni on Thursday last.
Meanwhile, on Thursday July 9th, the Roscommon LGFA minor team will play Down in the All Ireland A semi final at the Cavan venue.
That means it will be the second time in four days that a Roscommon LGFA team will line out at Kingspan Breffni and the third time in 17 days a county representative will play an All Ireland semi final at the venue.
The game forms the second part of a double header with Carlow and Derry squaring off at 2 p.m. in the TG4 All-Ireland Junior Championship semi-finals.
The other intermediate semi final between Down and Fermanagh will be held at St. Tiernach's Park, Clones on Sunday, July 12th with that game throwing in at 4 p.m.
