Draw made for group stage of TG4 All Ireland Intermediate LGFA Championship
Rachel Fitzmaurice and Roscommon now have a greater understanding of who they could face in the All Ireland series following the LGFA's draws for the Senior, Intermediate and Junior Championships.
The Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) have released details for the upcoming TG4 All Ireland Intermediate Championship.
Roscommon now have a clearer picture of who they could face although the Intermediate groupings will be populated as the provincial championships progress.
If Roscommon win the Connacht Intermediate Championship, they will face a team that loses in the preliminary round of the Leinster Championship and a team that is defeated in the Ulster semi finals.
Should Finbar Egan’s side lose out in the Connacht Intermediate Championship final to Leitrim, they would play the Ulster champions and a losing Ulster semi finalist.
The group stages of the TG4 All Ireland Intermediate Championship commence on Sunday, May 31st. Roscommon will commence their campaign on that date or on Sunday, June 7th.
Home advantage for the quarter finals will be granted to the teams that finish on top of their respective groups, with a draw to take place following the conclusion of the group stages in the Senior and Intermediate Championships.
