New Roscommon intermediate ladies’ football manager, Finbar Egan, has confirmed his panel for the upcoming Division Two National League campaign, which gets underway later this month.

County champions Clann na nGael lead the way with five players — Caoimhe Lennon, Ciara Quinn, Megan Kelly, Orla O’Neill and Róise Lennon — while beaten finalists St. Brigid’s have four representatives — Abby Curran, Caoimhe O’Reilly, Marian Nolan and Ria Lennon.

Laura Fleming Mannion, Rachel Fitzmaurice and Shauna Fitzmaurice have been picked from intermediate champions, St. Ciaran’s, while Junior A kingpins Pádraig Pearses are represented by Caitlin Malone and Gráinne Lohan.

Overall, 16 clubs are represented on this year’s panel.

Roscommon get their Division Two campaign underway when they take on Monaghan in Johnstown on Sunday, January 26th.

Egan’s backroom team includes Gary Wynne (Boyle), Marie Kelly (Clann na nGael), Niall Scally (St. Loman’s), Ciara O'Malley (physio) and Gobnaith Lennon (doctor, Clann na nGael).

The panel are taking part in a “Solo Marathon” fundraiser on Sunday, February 16th, to raise funds for their 2025 campaign.
