All-Star Enda Smith has been selected in Davy Burke's starting 15 to face Cavan in Longford next Saturday evening, despite picking up an injury against Mayo last time out.

If the Boyle player does start, it will be a massive boost to Roscommon's prospects of prolonging their interest in this year's championship.

Overall, Burke has made four changes to the starting line-up that took to the field against Mayo, with Ruaidhrí Fallon, Ultan Harney, Dylan Ruane and Shane Cunnane coming into the team.

Niall Daly, Tadhg O'Rourke, Conor Hand and Ciarán Lennon, who started against Mayo, are named on the bench.

Ben O'Carroll hasn't made the match-day 26, with the St. Brigid's player ruled out through injury.
