A night of celebration is in store in the Hodson Bay Hotel on Friday (this) evening as the Roscommon senior hurling panel will be presented with their Nickey Rackard Cup medals.
All-Ireland winning hurling manager with Limerick, John Kiely, will be the special guest for an evening organised by Roscommon GAA and Club Rossie.
MC will be Damien Lawlor from RTÉ.
Kiely is one of the most recognisable faces in hurling — a terrific manager who guided Limerick to their fourth Liam MacCarthy in a row in 2023, becoming only the third team to ever accomplish the feat.
Earlier this summer, the Roscommon senior hurlers provided GAA followers with one of the highlights of the year when they upset the odds to stun Mayo in the Nickey Rackard Cup final in Croke Park, 3-16 to 1-21.
