A father and son lined out on the same County Roscommon club team over the weekend.
It was a case of a “chip off the old block” as Conor Burke and his father Paddy were part of Kilglass Gaels’ starting 15 during their Division Five League defeat against Kilmore.
“Not too many times we see a father and son line out together. This happened last Saturday with our Division Five team where Paddy played corner-back and Conor played corner-forward. While the game didn’t go our way, it’s lovely to have memories like these,” said Kilglass Gaels in a post on social media.
