A former All Ireland winning manager has lent his support to Roscommon GAA’s ‘Win a Home in Kildare’ draw.

Jim Gavin, who managed Dublin to six All Ireland titles during his tenure, has given his support to the fundraiser.

In a video message on the Roscommon GAA social media pages, the head of the Football Review Committee (FRC) talked about his own experiences working alongside Dermot Earley.

“Dermot was a good friend. I served with Dermot in Óglaigh na hÉireann, the Irish Defence Forces, as my chief of staff. I know Dermot would be very proud of the efforts of the GAA and indeed Roscommon. So, you have got a great opportunity to win a house with a ticket for €100.”

A ticket costs €100 with money raised helping to fund future development projects, primarily, the progression of the Dermot Earley Centre of Excellence while buying a ticket will also support Óglaigh Náisiúnta na hÉireann, a registered charity for veterans of the Defence Forces.
