Former Roscommon footballer joins inter county backroom team

A former Roscommon and St. Brigid’s footballer has joined Wicklow’s backroom team for the 2025 season.
In a statement posted on social media, Wicklow GAA confirmed that Frankie Dolan has been ratified as a member of the Leinster side’s backroom team, who are managed by All Ireland winner Oisín McConville.
Dolan will work alongside McConville, Gary Duffy (Selector/Coach), Des Jennings (Performance Coach) and Chris Coburn (S&C Coach).
The St. Brigid’s clubman managed Abbeylara to their first Longford senior crown in 18 years following a replay victory against Colmcille last weekend.
