A former Roscommon senior football selector and coach has been linked with a current intercounty managerial vacancy.
Mark Doran, who was part of Davy Burke’s management team in 2025, has emerged as a candidate for the Antrim senior football manager's job.
The Saffrons have been on the lookout for a new boss since Andy McEntee’s three-year tenure ended following Antrim’s defeat against Wexford in the Tailteann Cup in June.
Doran, who is also the manager of the Slaughtneil senior footballers, also held coaching roles in Clare and Wicklow before linking up with the Rossies in 2025.
Interviews for the Antrim post are believed to be taking place this week.
