Glinsk referee Shane Curley will take charge of the All Ireland LGFA Intermediate final between Laois and Tyrone on Sunday, August 3.

Curley is not short of experience on the big stage.

He was referee for the 2021 TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Final between Westmeath and Wexford, and he took charge of the Senior decider involving Dublin and Kerry in 2023.

Already this year, Curley was referee for the Lidl National League Division 1 Final between Armagh and Kerry, before overseeing Cork v Kerry and Meath v Tipperary in the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship.

Curley reflected: “I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to represent my club and county again at Croke Park. It’s a great honour for me and it’ll be a proud day for my umpires as well, who have been around the country with me for the last number of years.”

The Glinsk man has also taken charge of Roscommon club games, including this year's O'Rourke Cup final.

Meanwhile, Gus Chapman of the Shamrock Gaels club in Sligo will take charge of his first TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship Final.

Mayo’s Kevin Corcoran will be the man in the middle for the TG4 All-Ireland Junior Championship Final between Antrim and Louth.
