Two Pádraig Pearses clubmen were part of the backroom team for the Galway U-23 side that claimed All Ireland glory.

Shane Sweeney (coach) and Adrian Murphy (Stats) helped Galway claim the inaugural All Ireland U-23 title this afternoon.

The Tribeswomen defeated Cork 1-11 to 1-8 in the final, which was held at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Kayla Madden raided for the all important goal while Laura Kelly’s seven point haul ensured Galway emerged victorious.
