The GAA has confirmed the referee for the Connacht SFC final between Roscommon and Galway.

Seán Hurson will take charge of the big match in King and Moffatt Dr. Hyde Park on Sunday week, May 10th, at 4.15 p.m..

Hurson took charge of last year’s provincial championship semi-final between the sides in Pearse Stadium, Salthill, when Roscommon were soundly beaten by Galway.

The Tyrone official has already refereed Roscommon this season — the 3-16 to 1-16 victory against Monaghan in Division One.

He was also the man in the middle for the 2024 Connacht SFC semi-final when Mayo saw off Roscommon by 1-15 to 0-13 in the Hyde. Later that year, he refereed the All-Ireland SFC final between Armagh and Galway.
