The GAA has confirmed the referee for New York's Connacht SFC game against Roscommon in Gaelic Park next weekend.

Brendan Cawley from Kildare will be the man in the middle for the match at Gaelic Park on Sunday at 8 p.m. (Irish time).

Cawley, who refereed last year's All-Ireland senior football final, took charge of the Rossies' game against Kerry in Killarney in January, which ended with Tomás Kennedy landing a controversial winning point for the Kingdom on the hooter.

Meanwhile, County Roscommon referee Paddy Neilan will take charge of the Connacht SFC game between London and Mayo in McGovern Park, Ruislip, on Saturday next at 2.30 p.m..
