'Rocky's Rebels' progressed through to the Castlerea Vehicle Recycling Junior B final following a one point win over Strokestown.

Kilbride’s 'Rocky’s Rebels' dug deep to secure a dramatic one-point win over Strokestown in the Castlerea Vehicle Recycling Junior B semi-final.

The team, which was established to honour the late Rochelle Mullaney, have progressed through to a county final.

Many within the Kilbride ranks came out of retirement to play and pay tribute to their late teammate, who passed away last year.

Goals from Clodagh Spellman (2), Lorraine O’Connor, and Siobhán Martin, supported by key points from the same trio, saw Kilbride come through a drama filled game.

Rocky’s Rebels will face St. Michael’s/St. Ronan’s in the final, which is currently scheduled for Friday, October 10th.
