A Roscommon boy will walk out on to Croke Park this evening before Cork play Dublin in this evening’s All Ireland SHC semi final.
St. Dominic’s Joseph Hanley will be a flag bearer for the Dublin team ahead of this evening’s eagerly awaited contest.
Joseph Hanley won the Centra Ireland Hurling Sharpshooter Competition, which saw him earn the chance to walk out on the Croke Park turf this evening.
As part of his prize Joseph also won €1,000 for St. Dominic's GAA.
Fittingly, the competition was fronted by Ireland’s top two scorers in the hurling Championship, Kilkenny’ TJ Reid and Cork’s Patrick Horgan.
This evening’s game between Cork and Dublin throws in at 5 p.m.
