Pádraig Pearses GAA Club have announced that Alan Flynn is the new Head Coach for the club’s senior men’s team.

Flynn, will play a key role in the management team headed by newly appointed manager Niall Murray.

Flynn guided Galway to All Ireland U-21 titles in 2011 and 2013 while he has also worked as senior football coach with Clare, Kildare and Offaly in recent years.

In a statement posted on social media Pádraig Pearses stated: “At club level, Alan has coached and managed teams across Galway, Mayo and Leitrim, leading numerous squads to success and progression within those counties.

“We would like to welcome Alan to the club and wish him every success in his new role with the senior football team for the upcoming season.”
